I like it. Your description of memoir vs autobiography gave me clarity. I’ve been wanting to write a couple books myself for a long while. I thought it would be autobiographical but who would read a book about someone not famous or extremely exceptional in some way. I don’t read fiction because as I say I have fiction going on in my head 24/7 but I could write it as long as it didn’t have to be too factually based because I would find the research boring. So even before I read this I decided it would be memoir, plucking out the interesting bits not to talk about myself necessarily but to write things people could relate to their own life. I’m glad I stumbled upon you Bowen. You have become another piece of the puzzle which may never be finished but brings completion nearer and I am grateful🙏🏻
