I like how you talk about changing your relationship with alcohol on your terms and not just succumbing to the all or nothing dichotomy, while at the same time acknowledging the nuance of that by saying ‘that if I don’t follow anyone at all, it’s hard to get anywhere’ (sorry I might have just paraphrased).
Thanks Bowen, I look forward to reading through more of your addiction/sober/intuition pieces
Day3 of sobriety 🕺I was all cocky about how everyone around me was sick and I wasn’t then I binged, depleted my immune system and whamo! So I probably wouldn’t be drinking anyway. But I think I got this 😬
you do! I encourage you to join some sort of alcohol-free community. Even just a few people... From many reports and research, that's really the main aspect of AA that is effective. Cheers John!
I really enjoyed this Bowen.

Thanks for reading! Totally -- "On my own terms" is super important to me -- and... it can even be a bit _too_ important sometimes... Cheers Michael.
